What are the volunteer requirements for 2023?

The volunteer requirements for 2023 remain at 8 hours for ARC maintenance and 6 hours for the Hooch. Unfulfilled hours will result in an invoice which needs to be paid prior to membership renewal the following year.

 

Are new members being accepted?

People who are interested in joining the Club with previous rowing membership can submit applications starting April 1, 2023. In order to ensure the safety of our members and the appropriate maintenance of our fleet, new members will be admitted on a metered basis depending on the number of members already in club.

 

Why do I have to sign up for USRowing membership?

Atlanta Rowing Club is an Organizational Member of USRowing in order to support rowing at a national level and for insurance purposes. USRowing requires that all club members of its organizational members maintain an active USRowing membership. USRowing offers two levels of membership with different benefits including FREE weekly rowing webinars and newsletters as well as exclusive offers on rowing merchandise and benefit packages with partner organizations. What is the Club code for USRowing and RegattaCentral?

Do I need to be SafeSport certified to be a USRowing member?

USRowing will notify you of any outstanding requirements that are not fulfilled and it is up to individual members to maintain their status in good standing with USRowing and ARC.  Visit USRowing  Membership FAQs webpage for more information.
