The assistant course installation manager supports the course installation manager.
The admiral of the fleet oversees and coordinates launches for over 30 referees before, during, and after the regatta. Responsibilities include finding launches in the local community to use during the regatta, ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of gasoline, and making sure that launch drivers can safely operate the equipment.
The assistant supports the admiral during the three days of the regatta in the efforts of keeping a smoothly running fleet of launches on the water at all times.
The recruiter ensures that all launch driver positions are filled in time. During the five weeks prior to the regatta, (s)he contacts the pool of previous drivers as well as potential new sources to encourage drivers to sign up for open launch driver positions on the volunteer website.
